The Biltmore Hotel has a rich history which began in 1926. In its early days the hotel played host to people like Al Capone and Judy Garland as well as royalty such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor. With the onset of World War II the Biltomore Hotel was to become the Army Air Forces Regional Hospital. After being unoccupied for nearly ten years it reopened as a hotel in 1987. To honor this great long-standing structure every Thursday you can be a guest for Biltmore Legends and Ghost Stories. All ages are invited for the complimentary story telling. Also available are complimentary tours of the lavish hotel grounds which are given every Sunday.
