Mardi Gras Day

Mardi Gras Season begins on the Feast of the Epiphany, January 6. Mardi Gras is a time for parties, parades, balls and celebrations. Greatest free show on earth! The final day is Mardi Gras Day or Fat Tuesday. This is held on the day before Ash Wednesday, the first day of Lent, when we traditionally sacrifice in imitation of Our Lord's 40-day fast in the dessert.
