The Oklahoma Jazz Hall of Fame recognizes Oklahoma's greatest gospel, jazz, and blues music and musicians. Some of the greats like Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, and Dizzy Gillespie used to bring their talents to Tulsa. The Hall of Fame houses a musical library and art gallery of portraits and sculptures honoring these great musicians. |

The Will Rogers Memorial is located on 20 acres, land that Rogers originally purchased for his retirement home. After his death, his wife donated the land for the site for a memorial to her husband. Now, Rogers, his wife, and their infant son are all buried on this site. Located in the memorial museum is a statue of Rogers with his famous words, "I never met a man I didn't like." |
