Washington Park is a classic urban park. Sprawling over about 140 acres just west of downtown Portland, the park encompasses a beautiful and relaxing Japanese Garden, the Oregon Zoo, the World Forestry Center Discovery Museum, the Rose Garden, a Vietnam Veterans Memorial, and a Lewis and Clark Memorial.
