This grand hotel is a National Historic Landmark whose public spaces are galleries in themselves. Guest rooms are soundproof and decorated in a traditional motif. Built in 1916 for $6 million, and renovated in 1999. 642 rooms and 47 suites.

Once a rest stop for traveling Benedictine monks The Priory is now a quaint European style inn situated just across the Allegheny River. Rooms feature Victorian décor with antiques; some offer good views of downtown and the water, others provide courtyard viewing. The inn also features complimentary weekday limo serevice and an honor bar in the library.
